A noise adjacent project with a plunderphonics edge, Embargo Of The Soul relays track after track of oddity-melding surrealist absurdity with it's underlying tortured mind hidden throughout each phase of the album. Jab after jab of post-modern menagerie compiling samples from Broadway musicals, Filipino Kundiman classics 90's Alt-Rock and (so, so) much more twisted to fit the beauty-laced hell the 47 minutes puts you through. The nine tracks offers such vivid depictions of internal and external turmoil coalescing into a cacophony of glitched-out boundary-less songs that can, and will jump through different genres with a steady breath.
